The Moroccan-born Sofia Pernas moved to California at the age of 5 old. She was raised within Orange County. The actress got her first big break acting when she graduated from University of California San Diego in the year 2015. Pernas, who had made brief appearances on NCIS and Leverage prior to landing the part in the role of Marisa on The Young and the Restless she was a well-known face on the soap opera. This was after Chrishell Stause (the spouse to the This Is Us actor) left him in November 2019 and Pernas started dating Hartley. Pernas Hartley got married privately with Pernas in May 2021.
