Sofia Pernas is a Moroccan actress who was born and was raised at home in Orange County. At the age of 5, she moved from Morocco to California. The actress got her first taste of acting in the year of 2015. In the same year, Sofia Pernas graduated from University of California San Diego. Pernas, who had made tiny appearances in NCIS and Leverage before landing the role as Marisa in The Young and the Restless and was an established name on the soap. After leaving the soap opera in the year 2016, she landed the role of a regular in Jane the Virgin as Catalina. She speaks four languages and has since appeared as Catalina in The Brave with Hannah Rivera and also The Green Ghost and Secret Society of Second Born Royals. Her character Lexi Vaziri was on Blood & Treasure between the years of 2019 and 2020. Us Weekly confirmed that Pernas and Justin Hartley were dating in May, in 2020. The romance came following Hartley's This Is Us star split from wife Chrishell Stause in November of 2019. Pernas Hartley was recently married in a wedding that was secretly held, according to news in May 2020.
