April Bowlby is an American actress and model. She was known as Kandi, Stacy Barrett and Rita Farr from the CBS Comedy Series Two and a Half Men. April Michelle Bowlby is an American actress best recognized for her role as Stacy Barrett in the American legal comedy drama/fantasy TV series Drop Dead Diva and Kandi in the comedy series Two and a Half Men. Her modeling career started with modeling, and then she moved onto films and television series. In CSI: Crime Scene Investigation her debut TV role was in a scene in the background as an extra. Her breakout performance was Kandi as Kandi in Two and a Half Men. Bowlby is famous throughout the world for the role she played in the role of Stacy Barrett in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Rita Farr/Elastigirl in Titans, an American web-series Titans. She will play the role in a upcoming spinoff of Doom Patrol. Bowlby is also known as a result of her TV appearances in Sands of Oblivion (a TV film) and The Wrong Daughter. Her big screen debut was made with All Roads Lead Home. Then she appeared in movies like The Slammin Salmon, and From Prada To Nada. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California as a child and attended East Union High School. Following her studies in ballet as well as French in Moorpark College, Bowlby decided to pursue an acting profession. She was a Drama student with Ivana Chobbuck and landed the lead role in an upcoming TV show (Kandi from Two and a Half Men) just a few months after her Hollywood debut audition. Bowlby was a part of a variety of TV series, including CSI in 2004, CSI: NY and CSI: NY in 2005. She also appeared on Freddie and Freddie in 2005, as Sydney and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby played Natasha last year as Natasha in All Roads Lead Home, the 2007 film about a girl aged 12 who has lost her mother to an automobile accident. Bowlby will be in the 2008 comedic movie The Slammin Salmon as Mia. Los Angeles is her home. Naturally red hair, and blue eye color. She is single and has no children.
