Angela Sun

Angela Sun, an American journalist and TV sportscaster, in addition to filmmaker of documentary films. Angela Sun is a multi-award winning journalist, sportscaster and producer. She has a degree in Sociology and Communications at the University of California. Sun was a pro at surfing and was a participant in numerous pro-am Surf events which led to her being sponsored by major brands such as Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The attention she received due to this fact was like a slingshot to propel her into the world of entertainment. She, later on went to become an actress, sportscaster investigative journalist and film director. Sun is a former anchor that has been on various news networks. She was a Fox Sports Net correspondent in 2003. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun hosted The Yahoo Sports Minute during 2014. Sun was the very first Asian American to have her name featured in ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has starred in many movies and received fame and praise for her acting skills. Her roles include Goliath (2016, Hit the Floor 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway 2009) Shackled 2005, Street Kings 2008 and Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004. Sun's 2014 feature length document Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a documentary about the negative effects of the plastic waste on oceans. She created, wrote and directed the film herself.
