Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah has worked as an actress as well as a musician, playback singer and actress for Tamil films and Malayalam film. Annayum, Rasoolum marked her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. Her debut was in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah has been identified as an Anglo-Indian born at Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Her father is a lawyer in the Madras High Court. She has an older sister currently working and living in Leuven Belgium in the role of Research assistant. Jeremiah was raised near Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started the classical piano at eight years old, was classified as an "geek" and aspired to be a psychiatric until her 12th grade board exam. She performed as performer in her college in various shows that were put on by The Madras Players or EVAM. She served as President of the Women's College's Student Senate. Andrea's career in theatre began by appearing in the film of Girishkarnad's Nagamandala. Her 2006 role in the Leo Coffee commercial was with Shiva. The year 2006 was the time she appeared in a series that was broadcast on Podhigai. She has appeared in various shows across India. She played a minor role in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. Andrea plays Kalyani as a wife and mother to a man who has an affair. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani when Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actors were approached. This film released in early 2010 The film was released in August 2011. Venkat Prabhu launched his multi-starrer Mankatha. It was her turn to play a minor support role. In 2013, she made her debut in Malayalam film with Rajeev Ravi's romance movie, Annayum Rasoolum.
