Lis Wiehl (born on 19th August 1959) is an American writer and Former legal analyst for Fox News.
She was previously an Assistant Professor of Law in the University of Washington Law School. She also has provided legal commentary for Bill O'Reilly's radio show and National Public Radio. She has appeared on weekly shows like The O'Reilly Factor, Your World with Neil Cavuto, The Kelly File featuring Megyn Kelly and Lou Dobbs Tonight. the Imus morning shows, and hosts the Legal Lis radio show and the Wiehl of Justice podcast.
Wiehl was born in Yakima she attended West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as an Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a US attorney in the United States. Her role was as the correspondent for legal issues of the NPR program All Things Considered. She served as the "deputy chief of the investigative team for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. Her tenure at University of Washington School of Law Seattle was from 1995 until 2001. She was the director of their Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl served as a Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
