Sharp is an Rochester area native who studied clarinet at the Hochstein School of Music. Sharp also played piano as well as cello. When she was awarded a scholarship to The Boston Conservatory because of her love for theater in schools Sharp applied to The Boston Conservatory. The Cum Laude's B.F.A. was awarded to Sharp after she graduated. Sharp chose to pursue a career in theatre after graduating Cum Laude with an B.F.A. Sharp was a part of her first Broadway National Tour of Carousel, debuted Off-Broadway with Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind and performed in eight roles in the comedy that is interactive Eat the Runt. Other theatre performances include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp read alongside writer August Wilson himself. Sharp is also working on other projects that she is working on alongside her productions for stage and screen. A full-length recording is in the works. She performs. If she's not in the front or behind the camera or working in a studio to record songs, Sharp has a love for fitness and stays in the gym and studies Krav Maga.. She is also a piano player along with hiking, and taking long journeys. Sharp resides with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
